Welcome to the Dane Affaire

We are located in Northern California USA in the town of Citrus Heights, just below the Sierra Nevada foothills.

This is a small kennel where the focus is on improving and maintaining the balance of temperament, health and longevity as well as quality in the breed. I health test all my breeding dogs for hips, elbows, thyroid, heart and eye defects. I also test as many of their littermates as possible. I breed sparingly, with careful selection of dogs exhibiting the companion qualities I value as well as conformance to the breed standard.

I am a member of the Great Dane Club of America, the Great Dane Club of Northern California and the Monterey Bay Great Dane Club. I have lived with Great Danes most of my life. I just can't imagine not sharing my home with them.
