Indy was sired by BISS Ch Conner and my last cropped Dane, Cody. He was my
pick from birth.
Indy was shown for a short time because, like his father, he hated to show.
When I say he hated to show, I mean he really hated to show. He would shrink
in the ring, and on the go around, he looked like he was headed for a whipping.
I tried having someone else show him and when that didn't work, I tried
obedience training, herbal remedies, positive reinforcement and everything I
could think of to desensitize him to showing.
I finally gave up and because I thought his inability to acclimate to being
shown was a temperment flaw at the time, I had him neutered. Now I'm kicking
myself for not having him collected first.
Indy and his littermates turned 9 on February 20, 2010 and they are doing
fantastic. Both he and his sister Sara live here with me and have no signs
of slowing down anytime soon. They have beautiful muscling in their rears
and are very active.
