Chase is out of Sara bred to BISS Ch Lagarada's Aspen Gold, Travis. He
started out well in his show career with a futurity placement and was pointed
from the puppy class.
After a while, I started to see some changes in his head and body and I thought
he needed some time out to grow up a bit. A few months later, I thought about
the changes I was seeing in his head conformation and wondered if it was going
to change his bite as well. I took a look in his mouth and he had an even bite.
That made me keep him home longer so I could watch to see if he actually would go
undershot. By the time he was two, he was still even, but had not gone undershot.
I didn't particularly like how his front was looking and when I took him in for his
cardiac ultrasound for OFA, I found out he had mild mitral valve dysplasia. So he
was neutered and is now living the companion life here with me.
