Sara
Sara was sired by BISS Ch Conner and my last cropped Dane, Cody. There were
only two bitches in the litter and I originally planned to keep both. When
that proved to be an absolutely insane idea, I placed one of them with a
young couple.
Sara is the clown of the family. She has a wicked sense of humor and relentlessly
teases the other dogs. She started out by finding her way out of the whelping
box before she even had her eyes open. She has kept me on my toes ever since.
Sara's career as a show dog was cut short, no pun intended. She had a cyst
just below the base of her tail that became infected. I had it removed and
when I took her to the vet for a recheck after the surgery, they bandaged it
too tight and within a few hours, her tail had died and had to be docked.
It broke my heart to not be able to show her. With her sense of humor and
wonderful attitude, she was a dream to show. Despite being unable to complete
her championship, Sara produced two champions.
