The Del Monte Kennel Club show used to be held on the lawn at The Lodge in Pebble Beach. Conner placed first in the 6-9 puppy class.

Conner winning in Canada
Conner went to Canada and took Reserve Winners Dog at the Canadian National Specialty and then won 3 consecutive all breed shows. He was 5 years old. We went back to Canada the next year and he won the regional specialty and took reserve at all the all-breed shows that year. He just needed 1 point to complete his Canadian championship, but he was six years old and did not like the travel, so we did not go back.
