Butterscotch was a chocolate brindle bitch that was shown just a few times in the 1970's. She came from
an exceptional bloodline and is just evidence on how color genetics and the mixed color breeding in the
early development of the breed can yield suprises. When you look at the first 8 or so generations behind her,
it is all pure fawn/brindle breeding. Yet, here she is! I suppose it was this that sparked Jill's interest into
delving back into her lineage.
